This is not a clickbait title. It is real. I never thought it’s going to happen to me, but it did.
That is, I realized that I want to adopt a more minimalistic type of lifestyle.
What does this actually mean?
It can mean many things and some people use this term – ‘minimalism’ – in a very deep way. I am talking here about letting go on some habits when shopping, decorating a space, etc.
For a long time I wanted to declutter my home, to reduce the decor items, to simplify everything down to the essentials.
I am taking baby steps but I really hope that I can carry through with this.
I started with my bedroom. I basically took out everything that doesn’t have an use, or speaks to me. This minimalist approach really helped me to put more order into my room and mind.
With this article I want to start a whole series on this blog about minimalism.
I don’t want just to present the things that I let go to, but also to give you alternatives and creative ideas when it comes to this simpler lifestyle approach.
